Everett Local Projects: Bright, Open and Airy Kitchen

This Everett kitchen refresh gave the heart of the house room to breathe. First, we removed a central dividing wall to create an expansive, open-plan kitchen and dining area—consequently boosting natural light and opening up room for connection. At the center, the new custom island, painted in Benjamin Moore’s “Caldwell Green,” offers seating, storage, and prep space beneath quartz from MSI’s Calacatta Arno collection. Meanwhile, soft white cabinetry contrasts gently with matte black pulls, and light oak-tone LVP finishes the space with warmth.

Everett Local Projects: Open Plan Kitchen

Our clients love to knock down walls and open up their homes—and we’re happy to help. Originally, this Everett kitchen was closed off from the rest of the main floor, resulting in smaller, more cramped rooms. So we removed the offending walls and installed a massive new header beam, thereby creating an open and inviting space.

Everett Local Projects: Compact Craftsman Bathroom

This Everett bathroom proves simple, clean, and modern can still feel warm. To make the most of a compact footprint, we paired a space-saving barn-door vanity with a stacked washer and dryer and a glass-enclosed shower. Meanwhile, craftsman touches—warm wood tones, shaker cabinetry, and black-and-white patterned tile—ground the space, while matte black fixtures and a backlit LED mirror add a modern edge. The result is a small bathroom, remodeled by JL Remodeling in Everett, WA, that lives large.
